for bike workshops
A bike workshop system that replaces paper and the paid booking platform
This is not a proposal invented for this page. It is a system the owner of a bike workshop near Bratislava opens every morning and works in all day.
A custom bike workshop system starts at €1,400 and the first working version is usually ready within a week. It replaces paper job tickets, the stock spreadsheet and the paid booking platform. For AJ bikes it saved roughly €3,200 a year in software subscriptions.
How a workshop usually runs
The job is a note taped to the bike
A name, a phone number and what needs doing. When the note falls off or gets wet, only the person who wrote it knows.
A customer calls to ask if it is done
You leave the bench, find the bike and look. That happens five times a day.
You pay monthly for bookings
The platform takes a flat fee or a cut of every booking, and it holds your customer data, not you.
Stock lives in your head
You do not know how many tubes you have in a given size until you walk over to the shelf.
What such a system includes
Repairs with a QR code on the bike itself, so one scan shows the status, the date, the price and who is working on it. Stock with parts and a warning when something runs low. Assets and depreciation if you rent bikes out or own more expensive tools.
Counter sales, takings and an hourly rate, meaning what an hour spent in the workshop actually returns. That is the number you can price by, and most people have never seen it.
Online bookings on your own site, with no fee per booking and no middleman. At AJ bikes they run in six languages, because around Bratislava that makes sense.
- The customer walks in or books a slot online The booking lands in the calendar, not in a Messenger thread.
- The bike gets a QR code and a job card Photo, fault description and the agreed price in one place.
- The mechanic logs the work and the parts used Stock comes down at that moment, not at the end of the month.
- Done, the customer gets a message and a receipt The revenue is recorded and the bike has a history for next time.
Proof, not a promise
AJ bikes is a bike workshop in Miloslavov. I built both the system and the site, and both are in daily use. It saved roughly €3,200 a year in software subscriptions, a thousand of that on the booking platform alone.
The site took the workshop to average position 5.9 in Google with 3,125 impressions in the first month. Revenue doubled after launch and later reached three times the old figure.
Common questions
Does it work on a phone in the workshop?
Yes, it is built phone first. The owner of AJ bikes uses it mostly on a phone at the bench, not on a computer in an office.
Can I try it before deciding?
Yes. There is a clickable demo on this site with made-up data where you can walk through repairs, stock and takings without logging in.
What if my workshop is not bikes?
Most of it applies the same way to motorcycle, ski, garden machinery or electronics repair. A job, stock, a date and takings are the same things; only the names differ.
Do I pay monthly?
No. You pay for the build and the system is yours, code and data included. Monthly you only pay hosting and the domain, which is tens of euros a year, not hundreds.
Run a workshop and recognise this?
Tell me how it works for you today. In the workshop where this already runs, customers check the status themselves and the phone stays quiet. The first call is free and it will also tell you whether the thing is worth building at all.
